Your cat and arthritis

June 15, 2021

Arthritis affects 2 out of 3 cats over the age of 6.  As cats are the masters of disguise, they hide pain incredibly well.  This can make it very difficult for owners to know that they are suffering.

To find out more about what the subtle signs of arthritis are, watch this great short video.  It shows examples of how your cat might move and how they might behave if they are suffering from arthritis.

Watch this video on how you can tell if your cat might have arthritis.

Download this really useful mobility check list which helps owners assess whether their cat might be in pain. It will give you an idea as to whether your cat is suffering from joint pain or arthritis.

For more information on this disease visit the ICC website.

If you are concerned your cat may be suffering from arthritis call the team on 01772 639800 OR 01253 766352 or open a chat on PetsApp.
